November 20-22, 2026
at Camp Hebron Halifax, PA
Retreat Theme: The Way Maker (Isaiah 43:19)
Escape the busyness of life and take time to slow down and connect with your family. Join St. Timothy Lutheran Church (NALC) for this getaway weekend which is specially tailored for families with children 18 and under. Together, you’ll discover practical tools to pause, connect with God, and map out a path toward truth, peace, and the abundant life He promises (John 14:6).
Retreat Overview
Arrival on Nov 20th (in the evening) and departure Nov 22 (Noon).
Join us for Bible study and quiet time devotions led by Pastor David Irvin. This series will focus on the "Way Maker" of the Old and New Covenants, revealing the big picture of God’s purpose for the entire world—and your family.*
Led by Pastor Keller, a dedicated time for reflection and guidance will be offered to discover God’s roadmap for your family.** He will introduce practical tools to help you identify the false promises of modern culture that tempt both children and adults to lose their way. Parents will also have the opportunity to review and build new family "rules of thumb" to help practice following Jesus in the way of truth.
We have planned a great mix of shared family activities for all ages and separate treks for parents and children. This allows parents to fully focus and relax, while children enjoy tailored activites with our dedicated childcare. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can design the perfect treks for your children's specific ages and needs.
*The Devotional time will be informed by *The True Story of the Whole World by Michael W. Goheen (Author), Craig G. Bartholomew (Author) .
**The family road map will be informed by Practicing the Way—Be with Jesus become like him do as he did by John Mark Comer
